Zero-click searches: what does this mean for your findability?

More and more often, searchers get their answer straight in Google without clicking through. We explain what this means for your online visibility.

A zero-click search is a query where the user already gets their answer on the results page itself — in a featured snippet, a knowledge panel or, increasingly, an AI summary. So there is no longer a click through to a website.

Why this matters

For businesses this means that simply ‘ranking high’ is no longer enough. Your content has to be structured so that you are the one being featured or cited, even when the click does not happen. Brand awareness and authority become more important than ever.

What does this mean for you?

In practice we look at structured data, clear answers to frequently asked questions and strong, trustworthy content. That way you stay visible — even in a world where people click less and less.
